Those images will be all over the place in 4 days...

Yeah, they are Honda pics of the Concept Civic Type-R ;)
Show me a car that has been launched that looks anything like the concept images.

Exactly :).

I aint believing a thing until Honda stick the official shots of the car on their website and list the specs.

Then we get to see what we miss out compared to the JDM one ;).

here are some more images of it....which seem to make it look a wee bit better

I feel its the backend that lets it down most........

The rear mings, hard. As for the rest of it, I'm still not sure

I think it might be a grower.

BTW I wonder what size wheels those are. I've never seen OE wheels fill the arches as much as that before. They look like 19's, maybe even 20's

They're 20's.

Out on the road I think it'll look the business. It's breaking the mould of hot hatch design and cars that do this are sometimes a little difficult to accept at first.

Yeah i would say 19s or 20s...........i bet there damn heavy too.

Whats happening to the Type R name of balance and lightness......maybe they are uber light but i cant see it

It's obviously not going to come with 20's on it.

Interesting Honda dont show the new shapes weight on their website.

Hmm.

I love it... To me is a damn sexy car.

When I went to see a mate at his work the other, I saw a new Civic pottering around the back of a Honda showroom. It sounded very nice tbh and looked to be a standard 1.6 / 1.8. I like the triangle exhausts a lot and in person the car looks even better. Thats just a normal Civic.

Cant wait to see one these Type-R in person.

looks pretty good I reckon.

Looking at interior shots the gearstick looks like its in a more normal position, although I think it is still quite close to the steering wheel, but not as pronounced as the current CTR.
