I used to think of Button as a good driver, now I think of him as someone quite happy to be paid high wages to sit in a crap car. Maybe he learned a bit too much from the Villeneuve...

Button would easily give up the huge salary for a drive in a Ferrari/McLaren/BMW, he said the same thing when he was on Top Gear for a fast lap around the track and I believe that.

That was before, when I still thought of him as a good driver. He hadn't even won that race at that stage?

He would maybe drop everything to go to a top team but would he drop his salary and put more hours in with his current one?

Ugh, I'm already cringing at the lengthy feature ITV WILL do on the Massa/Sutil incident from the last race.
I made sure to watch the replays again just to make sure I still felt the same way as I did previously... Fortunately I do. There was nothing dramatic at all about what happened during that pit stop, the cars were not close to hitting each other and Massa backed off to allow Sutil through.

Quite how Ted Kravitz or James Allen are going to extend this to a 20 minute feature I'll never know...

Starter with James/Ted treating us like morons and explaining every tiny detail.
Interviews with drivers
Replay of incident followed by replays of GP2 pit incidents
Interview with Force India/Ferrari staff followed by an interview with Max
Final interview with Ron Dennis and Hamilton's Dad
A shot of the rulebook slowly zooming out (voiceover from TK/JA)
Repeat showing of the replay. (voiceover from TK/JA)

Ok, so I can see how they'll drag it out.

To be honest that sounds more interesting than watching the entire Valencia race. Can't wait.

Villeneuve: Won the world championship then lost motivation and was quite happy to coast along living the millionaire's lifestyle since he'd achieved his dream.

Button: Won one race and then decided to coast along living the millionaire's lifestyle.

There's a slight difference there.

Maybe he has given up hope of ever having a good car from Honda? I'm sure he had some alright performances (for the car he was in) last year, I remember highlighting specific drives.

This is why I need commentary. Anyone tell me what's going on? They've red flagged, two cars went off...is there something goin on, or do they just want to clear the track of the two cars' debris?
