2008 British Grand Prix - Race 9/17

Kova going backwards - 4th to 6th in a lap

If Kimi makes 4th thats amazing damage limitation and reduces the value of Lewis' win massively!

You know that they will start taking driver of the day soon, and they will choose Lewis.. but damn Rubens deserves it more... He's driving a basically back of the grid car in thrid.. lewis is driving a front running car where it should be... who deserves a tropy more???
See what I mean now about Ferrari missing Ross Brawn now though.. thanks to him probably they are on for a podium at honda!

I was hoping we had more fuel than the Mclarens, which obviously wasnt the case as Lewis and Kimi came in at the same time.

Comes down to bad decisions on Ferrari's part unfortunately today.

A win is a win. No such thing as a false win.

Oh yes a win is a win.
But read what I said. Its a false win. I.e. it took the assistance of weather for them to get the win, just as it did in Monaco. Its not going to be raining at every circuit in the season.

Not set up for it? Many Ferrari fans were hinting that the reason they were off pace in qually is because they set the car up for a wet race? Which is it?

Just as the same "rumours" went around the paddock that Hamilton was lighter than Kova?

Indeed - though I hope Brundle has more sense...

TBH both deserve it IMHO...

Nothign to do with a driver who can't keep it on the track and another driver who is 2seconds a lap slower, even on the same tyres and same fuel load.

Was a lot quicker when the track was drier at the start of the race and he caught Lewis before the first stop.

Also has the fastest lap of the race.

Ferrari ballsed his race up with a crap tyre call.

AAAAARRGGGH FATHEAD! SHUT UP!!!
What the hell has Ross Brawn got to do with Lewis?
NOTHING!
So why ask him!

FFS!
Fathead grow a pair and change the subject you tit!

In your ideal world you would ban wet weather and ferrari errors ?

This is racing, and this race showed us that it isn't all down to a perfect dry weather car that is faster than the others. There are soo many other factors in F1 racing that make it what it is.

what a pile of BS..

It's a wet race, the best driver is easily LH. Mclaren also qualified above Ferrari(in the dry). Nothing to do with a false win. They're just easily the better team today.

Rubbish, yes Massa was crap today, but Kimi showed that he was faster than Lewis coming into the first set of stops.
If they had used new tyres then it would have been a different story, and look at Rubens on full wets for the 2nd stops.

That's all im saying, massa had lost it after yesterday's qualifying

both hamilton and raikkonen pited at same time hamilton made the better tyre choice and then drove better on them tyres
