Well yes but it is a bit odd that someone born in England would hate the England cricket team and want Australia to win the Ashes isn't it

Can we keep to the cricket please folksFeel free to bash Australia/England but people are free to support whoever they choose.

Hang on, you are the person that wasnt happy with people like Monty playing for England, I distinctly remember your thread last season, so if you arent happy with someone born in England playing for the land, who are you to criticise?
Got a link?
Anyway enough about that- back to the cricketApparently if Pietersen is unfit they would bring in..*drum roll*..Ian Bell. Hardly a straight swap *cries*
He scored a 199 v South Africa I'll have you know!Anyway enough about that- back to the cricketApparently if Pietersen is unfit they would bring in..*drum roll*..Ian Bell. Hardly a straight swap *cries*

True. I think Warney would love to see the Sherminator play once again.Exactly, and Pietersen hasn't exactly shone with the willow, has he?!
Bell, on form, is an awesome batsman, and a joy to watch, not to mention an excellent fielder. I think he deserves another chance.
I think you should take a closer look at who runs 'English' cricketI'm not sure when or why Wales got lumped in with England, nor why we played a test in Cardiff. England and Wales are different countries and associating Wales with English cricket strikes me as bizarre and ridiculous.
Yes I am well aware of that, but it doesn't mean it makes any sense to me.I think you should take a closer look at who runs 'English' cricket
Here's a hint, it's the England and Wales Cricket Board...![]()
I know it's all about the money and little to do with cricket. As for Cardiff, the Welsh Assembly threw a bunch of money the ECB's way to land the 1st test. Or apparently there is some other reason to do with cricket, but I find that pretty doubtful![]()
