2010 F1 - Who goes where? Lineup and Teams

bit of a strange choice there - or is it the Ferrari connections going to work?

edit my mistake was thinking De La Rosa was ex Ferrari driver - but he was McLaren I think lol

Last time Pedro had a drive he failed to impress imo, but on the other hand he must be a very good test driver (why else would McLaren have hired him for the last thousand years or so) which makes him a good choice for Sauber.

Pedro to be steady and develop the car, maybe pick up a few points,
Kobayashi to go banzai and give us all something interesting to watch :)

Yay pedro! :) He made me smile a few years ago in that outing when montoya left (all that late breaking in Bahrain i think it was), but yeah he should be a more interesting choice to show Kobayashi the more technical side of F1 without ruining the banzai flair in him.

Basically Sauber and Williams are my two teams for next year! :D

Looks like some good line-ups for this year, though the lack of drivers confirmed at USF1 ia speaking volumes to me. We are a fortnight away from testing and they simply aren't ready. They really really don't look like they'll make it....

Hmm... I'm following USF1 on Twitter (they are my "noob" team of choice :p), and they just retweeted something from a dude called Jonathon Summerton.

Stealth driver announcement per chance?

Su

OH poop :(

I wanted Danica Patrick to come to F1 and show some of the boys how it's done.
would have been great for F1 in the long run.

I would have liked to have seen Klien get the nod over de la Rosa, though i can sort of understand their thinking with having a much more experienced driver to partner the nutter that is Kobayashi :D (have to see it was a breath of fresh air to see Brazil race, apart from the Nakajima incident he drove a great race).

Hope Klien gets a drive, looking like it could be at Renault, and also am feeling a bit worried for Heidfeld as i don't think he has a confirmed drive for next year has he? (correct me if wrong though)

Nope, he doesn't have anything lined up at the moment although I guess he is most likely to go to Renault out of the remaining seats available.
