But that just doesn't tally with proper statistical analysis. It depends what you want out of the data, but I would say that agreeing to discard both drivers' x worst results/times/whatever would be most appropriate.
I see your point, but in this situation, I don't think it applies. F1 drivers/teams aren't able to drop scores in the WDC/WCC, so why should we be able to when comparing drivers performances?
