This has just shown up on CPW's inventory along with numerous other bit of info such as pics taken with a device codenamed i9260 which points to a refreshed Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2.

As most of us already know rumour has it there will be multiple Nexus phone's from upto 5 manufacturers.

One rumour is for an LG Optimus Nexus sporting:

The LG-manufactured Nexus device is highly likely to be built on the basis of the Optimus G: the aforementioned Snapdragon S4 Pro that has four 1.5GHz Krait CPU cores and a Adreno 320 graphics solution, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ screen with a 720p resolution, 32GB of storage space and either a 13-megapixel or 8-megapixel main camera, depending on the market

I'd be happy with an updated Galaxy Nexus as I loved it's design. Needs an sd-slot and better camera for me to be interested though.

Want list is an

A15/KRAIT based SoC,
awesome camera, 2GB Ram,
2100mah+ battery,
great build and design...

a good notification LED, all black monolith front (so buttons or logos)...and it all be ready for late NOV! :D

Has anyone genuinely hit the 1GB memory limit on Android? I swear 1GB is plenty until apps actually get very complex. Especially if you don't play graphically intensive games.

From the NoteII thread:

Really starting to appreciate the 2Gb. Played Riptide and my web pages and email were still in RAM. Very nice!

It's merely a want...not a need. Having a load of web tabs open and coming back to them without reloading is a major plus.

64GB should be deffo the minimum for fixed storage as mrk says.

1080p videocam chews through storage as do games, music, videos.

Just add a sd-slot ffs!

Don't get me wrong, 2GB RAM won't set the world on fire with blistering performance over 1GB RAM. It's merely a nicety to know that more of your most used apps will be kept in RAM and load instantly without having to load from cold thanks to the extra gig.

Point in case would be my QuickPic app which takes a few seconds to load from cold or my SMS app which gets dumped from RAM from time to time etc etc.

True but 8GB or 16GB is too small for storage. I hope Google see sense and release at least a 32GB version.

I very much doubt it'll be 8/16GB too without an sd-slot. I'm guessing 32gb minimum this year.

I want more info on the GNex2.

Still very much interested in this year's Nexus - My LTE S3 has arrived and it's ok but overall a bit MEH! :p

Some people are never satisfied. :p So why is it a bit MEH?

First thing is I'm already used to the S3 as my Sis an Nephew have one...so there goes the WOW factor.

And First impressions: The Grey hue is ok but not miles away from the Blue that I wasn't fond of - I'm more a monolith man. Second, TW is just meh, would love stock JB theme, performance on JB is pretty nice but quite similar to ICS I feel on the S3. And a few of my S2 apps/layout look a bit horrible too when enlarged to S3 size...also the change to 16:9 doesn't help my layout.

And I have the home button feel - feels clumsy and outdated, onscreen/HOS style rules.

All very little things which in the end makes me appreciate my S2 more...the S3 is not a giant leap forward mainly for me because of the lacking aesthetic and design features.

I have a few days to get used to it...otherwise its going back. Woot for 7-day tryout!

This does look like the final article from LG - Bar the screen which has poor black shift as it's a dev model.

Not my cup of tea - think the GNex is better, esp with the curved glass. WE NEED PICS OF THE GNEX II !!! :)
