It's got the same size screen as the Gnex with what looks like the exact same size bezel, how could it be any wider?
1280x768 (16:~9.6) @ 4.7" vs 1280x720 (16:9) @ 4.65" ......so slightly wider.

Will have to wait for the hard facts but I'm pretty certain it uses the same screen thats in the Optimus G which is 1280x768 4.7".Strange The Verge's write up on the phone says it has a 1280x720 IPS display.
To me they look pretty much exactly the same width and the galaxy nexus looks a little taller?
Definitely nothing compared to the S3 as can be seen in this shot:

They have?! Please tell me that the successor to the GS3 will have them?
nextweb said:Google has also been working with Samsung to launch a 10-inch tablet, confirming leaks which suggested Google had teamed up with the Korean manufacturer for another device. Our source tells us that internally the tablet goes under the name “Codename Manta”, runs Google’s new Android 4.2 operating system (previously referred to as Key Lime Pie, but is set to retain the Jelly Bean branding), and will offer a 2560×1600 pixel (16:10) resolution, which we believe will offer around 300 pixels per inch (PPI) compared to the new iPad’s 264 PPI.
I still would find it hard to believe that Samsung would put their flagship chip and screen into a low margin product.
iPad 3 16GB Wifi cost $316 to make and they sell it for $499. Add VAT (additional cost Apple have to pay) onto the $316 and it's far above £150.
While I agree I still think the 16GB version will sell very well. Ill personally not be purchasing till a 32GB model becomes available, which is likely given the course the Nexus 7 has taken.
I have actually been turned around by this phone. SGS3 and One X+ are good, but S4 pro is simply brilliant and the screen trumps everything except for perhaps the iphone 5 and SLCD3 devices HTC are bringing out. The Note 2 display is up there as well I suppose.
I haven't seen a Note 2 display....
The HTC One X still has a better display then both the Optimus G and iPhone5...
