...............

:D :p

I bet you everyone who said 16GB is a pitiful amount on the likes of the one S, GN etc. these days will now be getting this any way and say that it isn't really a problem :p :D

i did! :) but after thinking about it i don't actually play anything from my music collection so that went and i have enough space for everything, i've got deezer for my music and that is more than enough! :) so 16gb will be fine!

So, in summary: Google just took things to the next level

My hard-on over my new Chromebook hasn't subsided yet, and then they annoced these awesome devices at ridiculously low prices. I'm officially a fanboy now.

I'm out of contract with my DHD - besides the S4/Andreno 320 chipset I'm really not convinced with an LG product.

Why couldn't it have been an HTC?

Anyone know if HTC will have an answer to this or is this the best for the next 2 months?

So now my pops has gone and lost his mobile. Thinking of getting him the 8GB Nexus 4 for his birthday. He's not going to be too concerned about the internal storage space that much.

Only the HTC buttefly equivalent, the one with a 5" 1080P SLCD 3 screen.

The butterfly is only for Japan, but apparently it will be coming over here as well, just named differently i.e. DLX. Not confirmed though, but I am sure we will see something like the butterfly soon........

Google may have played a master card here. Develop the ecosystem and hardware using manufacturers for 3 years and then totally absorb that market with some astounding pricing.

Top end smartphones just became disposable. £240 for a top end phone.

But it's LG - am I missing something here?

They've been nowhere in mobiles and now everyone is like LLLGGGG *woop woop*

I'll wait until it's out for a month and read user reviews first

Anyone know if the audio capabilities in the nexus4 is as good or better than the S3.

According to GSMarena's review of the LG optimus G (same phone), they say the audio is the cleanest/best they have heard, however, you compare their test stats and the one S and GS 3 still come out on top :p

Although it is very close, unless you're an audiophile I doubt you will notice the difference :p

Because LG make exceptionally good hardware and the software installed on this is completely made and controlled by Google?

  • It has one of the best screens on the market, with one of the highest PPI figures
  • It has the best mobile phone SoC inside it (not only computation and graphics processing power, but efficiency)
  • Wireless charging
  • A Sony BSI camera sensor, with only the One X f2.0 camera sensor beating it

It has always been LG's software that's let them down, now that's taken out of the equation.
