2012 predictions

I still think you will be on top.
The question is what will mclaren do.
I can only hope that they have a decent car to begin with, something tells me this won't be the case.
Ferrari I think will be the same, linger between 2nd and 3rd fastest through the season, but with a a win or two on the back of alonsos driving ability.
Mercedes to be solid 4th maybe just maybe pushing for 3rd in some races, but that's a big if.

There's not huge rule changes and we saw who lost out with otbd at silverstone .:(

ill say RBR if you send me some RBR stickers to go on my remote control car ;)
would look awesome like this but a different color shell ;)

fast enough to break the pitlane speed limit at most tracks :D

probably going to be
RBR
then a few tenths behind
merc/ferrari/mclaren fighting for podiums...

with all mercs efforts in recruiting and building up their whole workforce again i expect them to be mega close to ferrari and mclaren this year, dont forget last years merc was build with the stupid workforce cap so pretty much half the man power of some teams...

It usually takes a few seasons for teams to gell after recruiting and the lead time in restructuring and research.

a lot of them have been recruited as the seasons gone on though and imo merc were slowly closing the gap for the second half of the season or at the very least keeping up.
there were races where merc were getting lapped even at circuits that suited them, where as towards the end of the season they had the pace to almost be fighting with massa

hmmm might be able to help you there, leave it with me.

It is really difficult to say. I guess the heart wants there to be more competitive racing, both on the track and toward the championships.

The head suggests that RBR still, in the hands of Vettel at least, have a considerable speed advantage. Map that onto the fact that they've probably had a good month extra working on next year (or could have had) and then you have only one answer.

OH NO YOU DIDN'T

I think the top 4 will be much the same as this year & probably in the same order. I know Ferrari a oohing about their radical new car for next year but I don't see them moving any great deal.

My biggest area of interest is still with the "new" teams, mainly Team Lotus or whatever they end up being called next year. Really is time to start looking at putting points on the table. Don't see much hope for Hispania though, rumours that they want the 107% rule increased to 110 don't bode well

I LIKE to see McLaren = Ferrari = RBR so that we can see Alonso Vettel Hamilton and Button scapping every race for the whole season with the championship being decided on the last lap in Brazil by like 1 point.

What I actually think will happen is that RBR will start off fastest with Ferrari and McLaren slightly behind, not as much as they were this year. Then Mclaren and Ferrari pushing hard to get up to speed and then the championship probably being over with 2 races left.

This is all speculative however. It seems that both the RB6 and 7 have been designed at least in part around ejecting the exhaust out near/around the floor to create more DF as well as using the engine maps to get more in off throttle DF too. Since that is being completely ripped away for next year it really all depends how good Newey and his team is.

We all know the answer to that one though.

Still wouldn't mind a trip around the factory though!
