2012 predictions

Hopefully McLaren will have their car setup even better this year and will be closer to the RBs

McLaren have tended to start with an iffy car and end up making it competitive. If they can produce a decent car from day one they might be able to put up a stronger challenge.

Won't the exhaust position and OTBD ban make things more level?

That all depends on how much each team were relying on it and how they were actually using it. I think it will affect each team in different ways.

I'd like it to be close like 2010 but I'm going to go with RB>McLaren>Ferrari>Merc.

I drove past Red Bull today incidentally, loving all the trophies in the reception windows.

I love the latest additions

I'm willing to bet the season will end in the same fashion, RB are a steam train and I doubt it'll slow down anytime soon.

OT:- CS||nuTs, get me a belt! :( I want one of those belts they wear with the RBR uniform, Can't find one online at all, not the fancy coloured one, or the leather one. Just the plain blue material one with Red Bull written on it. Or does anyone know where I can get one? would be appreciated! :)

30 Euros for a hat! Ouch!!

I think the order will be much the same next year as it is right now. Mclaren will be there or thereabouts in quali and the race Red Bull will just about have an advantage. However, judging by the gap Mclaren had at the start of the season to where they are now, if they can keep development up they might just have the fastest car by the end of next season.

To sum up, depends how well Red Bull can do at the start of the year to create a buffer from Mclaren before they start catching in both titles. Should be an interesting end to the year I hope!

Ferrari I don't have much hopes for but we may be pleasantly suprised. :)

how is it cherry picking? he was posting better laptimes than webber by far until the track had a proper dry line..
the race was posponed and then started under a safety car or schumacher should have had a podium.

maybe im cherry picking those 39 laps faster than webber managed though.

your hate for schumacher is blinding your judgement

For the last time, I don't hate Schumacher.

But 'ifs' and 'buts' and 'if this had happened then's are utterly pointless. If the race had started 10 minutes earlier Schumacher could have slid in the wet and stuffed it into a wall for all we know.

The fact is, it didn't, the race ended how it did, and Schumacher didn't get a podium. No 'massaging' of the stats by you is going to change that.

This is a good question - lots of teams are talking about "radical designs" which basically means a few teams have found and exploited loopholes in the rules. Very keep to see RB considering every previous design has been an evolution of the previous car.

I reckon McLaren will be right up there next year with RB. Not expecting any of the others to be in the running - mid field will be further back again.
