2012 predictions

For the benifit of F1 and providing me some epic Sunday afternoons of racing, I hope McLaren and Ferrari are equal with RBR, and the mid field remains as close as ever.

I also hope lotus (Caterham) get their act together and move into the mid field.

cherry picking stats again? a lot of ifs and buts to ever imagine mclaren beeing up there at the start of a season.

when was the last time that happened again?

Come on Nuts, it wouldn't be OcUK F1 threads without us :D

I like how he compares me predicting something about 2012 in a thread about 2012 predictions to him trying to say Schumacher should have been on the podium in Canada this year. Totally the same thing....

I would say it would have been great to see Schumacher on the podium, but then arknor would loose his "OMG you hate Schumacher" argument, and where would that leave him?

I think it's just me that wants RBR and Seb to dominate again. I was a Schumacher fan ok? I loved the early part of the last decade, I was in heaven

I think all sports can benefit from having an individual or team way out in front. It drives everyone else to improve.

The trouble with Vettel this year was, while I have great respect for him and think he outclassed everyone, he didn't exactly provide an edge of the seat exciting championship. Another year of pole to flag waltz's might just drive people away.

At least with you winning again Nuts we don't have to amend the sig! That's worth the £40m.. plus..

Just don't change the livery!

Oh Infiniti will be more prominent on RB8 so it may need tweaking matey. :)

Oh yeah, forgot about that. That deal was announced before this season, but they don't seem to have made a big thing of it? Is the team officially going to be called Red Bull Infiniti rather than Red Bull Renault?

How many times did you have to stop to wipe your screen down whilst making that? Go on, be honest.

ok just for you :D

i never realised just how many images of schumacher & vettel together exist i could easily have filled that image 10x over

would love to see them both at RB for schumachers final season or see them racing against each other in competitive cars

its almost like father and son ;)

Oh Jesus, don't give Frank any more conspiracy ideas!

oh btw like my new sig?

Depends, are you now going to cherry pick and make up stats to tell us that Vettel is the best and most successful driver of all time? You've already tried to claim the RB7 is the most dominant car of all time.

no because i dont think vettel is the best driver even of this generation.

marking out of 100 with the driver i consider to be the best beeing used as the benchmark
100 alonso
95 hamilton
93 vettel
87 button
83 webber
80 massa

wont count schumacher seeing as hes past his peak and not in a good enough car for me to really judge how he still holds up.

i'd rate 98 schumacher above 2006 alonso though

You've already tried to claim the RB7 is the most dominant car of all time.
yea based on all the stats it had/has the chance to beat in a single season which is more than the mp4/4 broke in its single season

schumacher is the most dominant driver of all time because of how many records and championships he took, it doesnt mean hes neccasarily the fastest driver of all time just probably the most complete package which a lot of people in the sport will agree to with even if u dont.

im saying the RB7 imo is the most complate package we have seen in a car

Agreed - the funny thing is, how often have they actually shown Vettel on TV this year? Usually just off the start and at the end of the race. Most of the coverage has been on the fight behind.
