The Hydrogen GreenGT car that was being entered through the Garage 56 scheme has been withdrawn. It is possibly the ugliest car ever to grace a race circuit.

A ProSpeed Porsche 911 GT3 GSR will take it's grid slot and there will be no Garage 56 entrant this year.

Next year, is apparently an all electric car from Nissan.

No garage 56 :(

Also interested if this will be showen on tv or any Internet feeds. On the ****s sat night np but can watch some sat day.

A post by John Hindhaugh over at Radio Le Mans.

Despite what anyone might be postulating, NO TRACK ACTION can be streamed by the WEC site or even on the ACO LeMans TV site. NONE Not practice, not the race... ZERO TRACK ACTION.

manufacturers or teams MAY have bought the rights to stream their own on boards - Audi have done this in previous years as have Cadillac and Corvette.

The entire race will be shown on Eurosport and British Eurosport (it flicked between the two channels last year), they also have a nightly programe in the week leading upto the race called Le Mans in 24 minutes.

Blackvault

Shame. The WEC streams have been great this year. 720p and uninterrupted by adverts. Better quality than some of the TV channels. :D

Will keep an eye out, but I think I'll end up watching it on Sky Go as if I have it on the TV for the full 24 hours I'll probably get some nasty screen burn on the plasma screens. :(

Withdrawn, or just doesn't exist? The complete lack of any news on it made me think the project died months back.

Eurosport will have the full race live hopefully.

Withdrawn.

It has actually run for a few tests, but only in the last month. It was a touch late imo.

Really must actually go one year...

However I'll be doing my usual and watching most of it on Eurosport. Really looking forward to it, the coverage is like Test Match Special for motorsport!

:) they're doing 25hr live again

This Porsche, The 2014 Rules, The 2013 Le Mans Race - /SHAKEDOWN
Leo Parente and ShakeDown explain why the new Porsche LMP1 car that will race in 2014 is already influencing the 2013 Le Mans 24 race. Time to detail what is known about the Porsche, explain the 2014 ACO / FIA rules that influenced its design AND preview, by class [P1 / P2 / GTE-Pro / GTE-Am], the cars, teams, and the favorites in the June 22-23 Le Mans 24 hour endurance race.

It's on British Eurosport for the whole thing (made up of a couple of programs). Starts on Saturday afternoon at 13:15 and finishes at 14:30 on Sunday afternoon. Sky Channel 410.

I guess I'll go for Ryan Briscoe then. Indycar's Ralf Schumacher, fast but prone to boneheaded crashes. Speaking of Ralf, Toyota picked him for the 2005 F1 seat instead of promoting Ryan from test driver :p
