*** 2014/15 Pre-season Friendly Thread ***

Back 4 with Allen and Lucas in front of them have been dreadful. Skrtel can't carry them on his own but Flanagan looks half the player playing alongside Wisdom and Kelly rather than Agger, Sakho or Johnson.

Hopefully see Kelly and Wisdom go back out on loan or sold, Lucas sold to Napoli and Allen sold to whoever will take him.
 
Preston 1-2 Liverpool FT

Good performances from Coutinho, Lambert and Suso, Ibe was excellent for the second game running and Rossiter was immense when he came on.

I really like them. You get nice football on them generally. Can't slide as well so keeps the fouls down a bit.

Don't really know too much about them. It said at the start that the other 2 fixtures we have there, the pitches have been replaced with real grass.

Townsend looking awful so far. Where has his pace gone?

Seems overkill. Suppose you can't leave anything to chance though, no doubt someone would nitpick this if Poch were start the season badly.
 
Looking forward to hopefully seeing a bit of Lamela in this game.

All I'm seeing (as usual) are mistakes, mistakes, mistakes.
