Might have been but Sanchez beat him to it, but was already backing out, wanted to tap it rather than go in and risk getting hit. He beat him to the ball with the GK absolutely stranded, a touch either side of the keeper and it's a red card or a simple ass goal. Sanchez was poor there and his passing hasn't been good so far in this game. Tried loads of through balls and not making really any of them.
 
He did pull out - but its a preseason friendly, I'd rather he pull out hank risk an injury in this case.

Sanchez has been very hit and miss - great ball to Sanogo for the rambo goal, has looked lively and threatening. It hasn't come off for him in most cases, however he is definitely a threat.

apart from the glorious slide ball to Sanogo to set up the 2nd goal..

Glorious, just watching the replays now and, Nastasic for no apparent reason was marking Sanogo's run then just drifted away from him, stopped running, it was a painfully easy pass, knock it in behind a player who wasn't closing him down and was making no effort to close down Sanogo.

You generally spend 30mil for a player who can hit the tight passes in difficult situations, not the ones that anyone can make.

He has only just joined us, let him settle in a bit before you start with a new hate campaign against a player for the rest of his career.

He's been lively, passes are off a bit but he is a threat. Still have ox and Campbell for second half when legs get tired.
