2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying 7/8/11 September *** Spoilers ***

We scored 5 last game he neither assisted or scored somehow. One assist for utd in almost 3 full matches as well. Not great stats. He's 23 not 17. He should be good/great by now, and if he needs more time, fine. Lets not start him in every match then?

Cleverley's job is to create chances and manoeuvre the ball around between midfield and attack. He's 23 and has shown plenty of times potential.

Lay off him you clueless twonk.

Critism is justified, just a serious lack of compsure. Whatever position he plays he has to finish that chance laid on a plate by Defoe. A lumbering agricultural center back should be putting that one away (nevermind the other chance), just not good enough.

He really does talk some arse at times, well a lot of the time. It makes you wonder if he really does watch football at times. For Utd he plays much deeper and keeps possession. I am yet to see him play off the front man in such an advanced position like he has tonight for United.

His first England Cap at Wembley and clowns like NickG just put him down.

I guess on Football Manager, he would have scored that hat trick by now though

He was subbed at half time apparently with a dead leg, nothing serious.

Ah. :)

Can always count on England messing it up!

Lol England are the worst bet for just wins :p especially against a good team!

BBC thing sais "No changes for England, who don't have much in store on the bench if truth be told. Danny Welbeck seems the most obvious attacking change on offer."

Bit of a joke... Abandon Milner stick on Lallana, give it a bash!

It's vile, absolutely what is wrong with some fans, say we should try new players, then crucify them on their second cap despite doing some really good pieces of play.

He isn't Theo Walcott who has had a ton of chances and looked lost. Yet nope, let's crucify Cleverley.

Disgusting, no wonder this country crumbles in competition, very little real 'Support', definition really should be learnt by a vast percent of this population.
