***2014 Powerlifting Totals Thread***

New Pr (sort of) but a tad heavier.

Previous was

Robin7 ------- -- 140(P) / 180(B) / 200(B) ------------- [77] ----- 520

Current

Robin7 ------- -- 150 / 180(B) / 210(B) ------------- [79] ----- 540

Not very sure if it's better or worse?

My all time best bench was 140 for three paused reps, but I was 10kg heavier then. Now that I'm lean 140 is the most I pause, and 150 was touch and go (not bounced).

Deadlift was 220 of two inch blocks but failed off the floor. Squat is a dodgy 180kg. I hit parallel so it counts I guess but not what I want to say is totally legit. Once I hit 200kg squat again I'll get it on video to make sure it's all good :)

Edit: Whoah! Just realised it matches the best bencher? Going to have to go for a tiny pr in a few weeks (ie 151kg or something) and get it on video so I can feel a bit cooler ;)

Double edit:... although seeing icecolds squat and deadlift make me feel a bit noobish. Really wish I hadn't neglected these body parts for so long

Added another 2.5kg on to my Bench last week, but I reckon i've got at least another 2.5kg in me on my next bench day. Did 130kg last night and it felt pretty easy, but as there wasn't any 1.25's at hand, I went straight upto 135kg and it was just a little too big a jump. I think i'll definitely have 132.5 next week.

Also managed 120x4 after the failed set, 3 months ago i couldn't even do 120kg for a single. I've never seen my bench increase so quickly. Hoping to get to 140kg at some point this year, with a 550kg total.

Squats are my next big working point, I've always struggled with my form and depth, so concentrating on that and getting well past parallel with some lighter weights, goal is 180kg for a single.

Also looking at bennyc's lifts... fml at that awesome squat. I'm not going to hit that any time soon. Maybe in a few years! Pretty much the same bodyweight as me also damn.

Edit: Nvm... he's squatting and deadlifting without a belt... wow that's awesome.

Technically the best bencher here is (was :'( ) LiE with I think 160 paused at ~82kg. But that was probably the 3rd best bench in the country at that weight (in a tested federation), so I wouldn't feel too bad!

Also, my squat and bench need to get a lot better to make up for my terrible bench, but thanks :)

And yes, Benny is a very handsome man.

Started cutting two weeks ago so will see how progress goes but as always, watch this space :)
 
This is my first post in a while, but as of today...

Bench - 90KG
Squat - 155KG (B)
Deadlift - 140KG (B)(S)

Bodyweight is 75KG as of five minutes ago.

(The 'BS' was unintentional). :D

That's pretty crazy damn. Mine is 140 for 3 paused but at around 88kg and currently 140 for 1 paused at 77 (although I'm 79 now that I did the touch and go 150.) Is my bench reasonable then? 160 is crazy strong, but in my mind doesn't feel like I'm that far away? But then I think I'm nearing the end of the noob gains where I put on tons on my bench each year... I'm guessing the next 20kg is going to be a lot hard than the last 20kg.

I'd never enter a PL meet though with my crappy squat and DL lol, I gotta get them way up!

My training partner has the same bench as me, but squats 220 and dl's 240 so seems a lot more balanced. He's also trained by Dan Green though so I guess that helps haha

Good luck! Getting lean is awesome, I feel so much better at 78/79 than when I was 98kg. And not seen his lifts but guessing they're crazy?

Also just seen the 2013 totals... fml some crazy top lifters.
