*** 2015/16 Post/Pre-season Friendly Thread ***

I only stayed up for the first half but it doesn't sound like I missed too much. Our performance was pretty dull. We didn't have good movement in the midfield and there was no creativity in the middle. Carrick and Schweini are both too deep lying to offer much guile near the opposition box. When we have played well over the past season we have closed the opposition down and won the ball back but agains PSG we would surround them with 3-4 players and just stand there. They were far more aggressive in defence.
 
Perhaps we need to try one of Carrick and Schweinsteiger with either Herrera or Schneiderlin, that would be my choice anyway.

Kent looks pretty good.

Lovren has been such a disappointment, not watched much of our pre season but most reports for him are still poor, skrtel and sakho should always be our first choice atm
 
He started poorly and got worse. There hasn't been a single sign that he's going to improve yet he gets so much game time. Pretty much confirms the theory that he was a Rodgers signing and Sakho an FSG signing. If Rodgers continues to favour 'his players' at the cost of the team he won't last long this season.
 
I think if Rodgers doesn't give sakho the game time he deserves he will force his way out come next summer that being said of Rodgers doesn't get us the results this season I don't see fsg sticking with him anyway
