Been an alright game to watch for a 'friendly'.

Commentator quoted Simeone from a pre match interview, he said 'I don't understand friendlies' - he was a horrible **** though, so no surprises there.
 
Come on Pigeon! Mignolet was excellent last season. He was incredibly unfortunate to get dropped - I can only think that was decided in the summer that Karius would be number 1 and that's why - but when he came back into the side he was outstanding.

You only have to watch him geeing his team up for the shoot out to see how serious he takes things.
 
They were both awful at the start of the season but Mignolet did completely turn around his season to become one of our players of the season.

Edit: Was it the season before Ward was on loan at Aberdeen and got brought back never to play a game for us? Thought that was last season lol
 
Just got in to see the shoot out. Shame not to win it but from what I have read it was not a bad performace considering the team that was put out and the fact that we played 24 hours ago (I am surprised the teams agreed to that).
 
Yeh was a nice move and then not the best finish. Looking good so far even if i cant tell the teams apart at times....

Edit: Second chance for Origi thats gone wide :(
 
The kits? Yeh hes going mental about it. But I agree it is a bit odd, if we had our red kit on it would be less of a match.
 
Well thats a pen any day of the week. Looking very good so far as a team.

Just about gets it in, right in the corner though.
