Atletico are a right bunch of dirty ****s. Normally I like it but just not when they're playing us.

1-0 Atletico. Incredible save by Ward but they score from the rebound.

yeah that's not lack of experience or anything it's just him being dumb and crap. moves like 1 ft over 5 seconds when everyone around him is moving. beaten to the ball twice....

A mixture of pre-season, 2 games in 2 days, Atletico being Atletico and a completely unfamiliar & weakened side has resulted in quite possibly the scrappiest game of football ever. Defensively we're all over the place and you can see this back 4 and keeper have never played with each other. I know it's easier to criticise Klavan but Gomez has been as bad if not worse - he's constantly getting caught out of position and desperately trying to recover.

He came on at HT and is currently on the ball so I think they've got it wrong.

He did go down 3 minutes after the contact to be fair.
