Who were they classing as the first to retire?
Weeks ago they discounted Stroll because he never made the parade lap. I'll be miffed if they're saying Alonso when he didn't make the start.
Russian GP ResultsFirst to Retire
Romain Grosjean was the first to retire from the Russian Grand Prix. Yet again we had a driver fail to make the start with Alonso’s McLaren giving up on him before the race started. As per the Fantasy GP rules, a driver must start the race in order to retire (a DNF) and since Alonso didn’t start the race, he’s classed as a DNS. Grosjean was the first to retire after his collision with Palmer and the FIA classified the Frenchman as being last and therefore the first to retire.
You're not alone.Bugger. I had Palmer and was hoping they'd classified him as out first
I have Stroll down for this by default each raceBugger. I had Palmer and was hoping they'd classified him as out first
Me too! Twice I've picked a car which has either not started the race or broken down on the parade lap.Edit: really torn on the first retirement this time. I keep losing out with the McLaren's retiring too early. Have gone with Alonso this time around, assuming that he'll break down before Stroll crashes around turn 13 and Palmer does something stupid on lap 2.
He had a bit of pace in qualifying, I look forward to seeing what he can do before the engine goes pop.FP1 doesn't bode well - Alonso went too early again!
