I don't think anyone would be arguing about a few extra seconds to get correct decisions. The problem lies in the flow of the game, for example, Team A score a great counter attacking goal, the ball is whipped into the far post for a winger to tap in, the winger is offside, the linesman doesn't spot it, goals stands for 2 mins for it to be ruled out. That's one example, i'm sure people will able to think up others. It's all about the flow.
They need some sort of device similar to goal line technology, offsides should be triggered automatically by the camera, with video ref's just confirming the offside, the ref will then receive a buzz if it's offside.
