I only watched bits, seemed amazingly boring, as usual they'll overhype the result ignoring the quality of opposition, etc.

It is quite funny though that Kane scores the first day after August is over. They really should just give him an extra month off for rest.
 
We really are just a mediocre team...at best.

Failing to drop Hart just tells me Southgate is another weak manager not brave enough to say, look, you're just not good enough, we're going to try someone else.
 
Would imagine Pickford will replace him soon enough. Out of all of them he seems to be the best chance of becoming our next long-term first-choice keeper. Admittedly I only get to judge by watching MotD, but if the highlights are anything to go by, he's in a different class to the others. Forster isn't bad.
 
Forster isn't good either though, he's got progressively worse (or maybe just more exposed) for Southampton in the last couple of seasons, he's a complete liability in half the games he plays now. He's been flattered previously by impenetrable defending rather than consistently good keeping I think.
