Too much focus on speed and fitness, how quick you can run. All the pundits fawning over players who can run quick in a straight line. "Just look at his pace!"

And we have next to no creativity, subtlety or guile as a team. Almost none at all.

Every single team knows exactly how England will play, and at least 50% of them can effectively nullify 100% of the "threat" England players pose. It's so easy to make them panic on the ball (get within say 100 yards), and if you defend at all well England will have almost no ideas how to break you down.

Predictable. Depressing.
