Where did that come from?! Dobey was down and out at 2-0 does in the 5th and storms back to lead 3-2!!

3-3, 25 maximums in this match!

1-1 in the decider.. make that 26 maximums!

Dobey's on a 9 darter.. fluffs it but leads 2-1.

Amazing match, had me on the edge of my seat.

Would not surprise me if Dobey wins the worlds one day. Kids got talent in bucketloads.

He has to perform regularly at that level though. How many players have come and gone where we've thought they could go on to bigger and better things only to flop miserably and disappear altogether.

Agreed, but his overall strength of scoring and doubling is so impressive. The more he’s up there, the better he’ll get. He’s a star of the future imo, no doubt about it,

I disagree - Lewis has chilled out a bit lately and is playing fairly well. I fancy a 4-2 MVG win but it wont be easy.

Lewis had the chance to make it 2-2 there but was steamrolled by two 11 dart legs from MVG. You just can't touch that quality.

Incidentally, you might like to know that a few of the old PDC faces who fell by the wayside are in the BDO this year, namely Andy Hamilton (former world finalist) and Wes Newton. Nigel Heydon is also there. He was pretty active on the PDC circuit for a few years.
