    I always wondered why it was thought to be taking the Michael when attempting a double double finish.

    Anywhere on the board should be fair game.

    My best ever leg of darts I won with 2 x D20. If you've got 2 darts in hand with 80 left and youe opponent is on a finish then go for it. Doubles are bigger than trebles!

    What a leg there!! Smith has 93 and braves going for T19 rather than the bull route and nailed it, that could have been costly!

    What's really annoying is that I, the person who avidly follows darts, predicted 6-2 to Smith yet ny other half who has no interest at all in darts predicted 6-4 to Smith. Ffs.

    When you see some of these guys coming through like Aspinall, Humphries, Dobey. The days of the old guard like Wade, Wright, Lewis etc are definitely numbered.
