I've honestly never thought he did until today. Different hair, Young has darker skin and is a bit more bulky than Martial but I always forget that players head off to warmer climbs over the summer. Fernandes is looking far more tanned as well.



Hes looking OK so far. This is probably missing 4-5 of the first XI so hard to make too much of it.

True, hopefully the scoreline helps us push on to a positive start to the season either way. Maybe we'll get the good Martial this season, it's so hard to predict with him.

United in cruise control against a terrible Everton performance. We needed to be worked harder than this. Plusses are that Bruno looks sharp however Martial way off the pace, James his usual meh. Matic and vdB not really being tested so hard to assess.

I'm not sure thats how signings work

You can't buy a TV, not use it for a year and then claim it was basically free when you start using it.

Actually its vdB or DvdB and he's done ok but nothing to be carried away about. I'd like to see him assert himself on the ball a bit more at times. Don't let Bruno come deep and take it off him.

I'm with you Adam, this is not what we need. Goldbridge was jizzing over Matic an vdB at half time saying they transformed our midfield penetration - utter tosh. Everton barely bothered to press at all in the first half. All we can say is that players are getting game time to try and sharpen up. Leeds up first is going to be a tough ask as they will fly at us from minute one.

Dunno if this marketing from Solskjaer but bringing on Dalot, Andreas, Williams and Tuanzebe seems odd given we've been trying to sell them. Learning nothing from this match.
Not sure if this is bias on my part but I'm not sure Pogba has found a red shirt with a pass yet?

James Garner is a just what we need tbh in that CDM role. He was fantastic for Forest on his loan.

Yeah but there has been quite a lot of talk about loan deals for Williams and Tuanzebe. Williams in particular needs to play more regularly and not at left back.
