2021/22 Pre-Season Thread ** spoilers ** [13th July - 8th August 2021]

Dalot has looked pretty good since he came on. I still think selling him would be a mistake, feels like he still deserves a shot.
Not for me. He's not had a huge opportunity but he's been at the club for a quite a while I can't remember a really good performance from him. Whilst Bissaka is poor going forward there's no way Dalot is going to displace him. I'd rather have Williams as a back up there, assuming we don't sign Trippier.

Let's be real, Dalot is far, far better than Williams right now. Williams needs to go out on loan and get a regular season somewhere.

Sneaky little header. Nothing wrong with where the keeper was there. It was just a lovely header. 9/10 you don't score a header facing away from goal there.

I love how brutal the MUTV commentary is.

"They've lost James and Doucoure at half time"

"I don't think James was ever there tbh"
Bwahaha, that's a lovely bit of commentary right there :D

Dalot is frustrating, he could be great, but he's so hot and cold when he used to play a little more regularly. Sounds like that is continuing today with the hot tap on!

Embarrassing by Everton, fans are already calling for Benitz to go!:D

I see no improvement over where we were last season. I will be amazed if we finish in the top 12.

This NLD is far from friendly, plenty of spicy tackles going in!

New boys all look good, Lokonga has really impressed me so far, good work rate and always looking for a forward pass. Only concern going into the season is Auba and his lack of form, even his body language looks exasperated. It's a bit late into the window but I wouldn't mind ditching him and Laca and getting some fresh talent in, they look so stale up front.

VVD starting alongside Matip again in our friendly today. It's starting to look like he will start vs Norwich instead of Konate as many expected. In fact I think 10 of the 11 starting today will start next week with just Fabinho coming in for Elliott.
