Whats the criteria for the 1RM, i compete with my son, we are governed by a certain criteria in the
squat ( certain depth ) and
bench we have to have a pause before the ref states " press " or can we put our touch and go 1RM here or both ??
In addition there is RAW ( nothing apart from wrist supports ) or equipped which is everything including squat/deadlift suits. We currently are raw
My squat is my biggest weak point, however been doing lots of volume this year to try and get some more kilos up, naturally that will benefit the dead going forward. My son still a junior, starting to pack the weight on now, not just in the lifts but on him as well, we are week 6 into a 10 week program, next comp is 28th November 2021.
