squats are feeling terrible lately so not going to push them , deadlifts are feeling juicy got 275 to the knees but still need to work on my glutes massively letting me down.
135 bench was a hideous horrible rep, but im taking it!!

My training has been all over the place what with the summer that kills my appetite, being off work that kills the adrenaline and doing up the house that sapped the rest of my strength. Will hopefully get back on track now. Bench and deads have stalled for weeks, but squats still increasing with lots left in the tank. Still, happy to finally be above 90kg (just) and over 600 total.

dropped a couple of KG and keeping it off accidently but ill take it. bench and deadlift are progressing nicely.

taking a break from squatting and just doing safety bar squats for the moment as I want a bigger deadlift number so working hard on that

HI all.

Whats the criteria for the 1RM, i compete with my son, we are governed by a certain criteria in the squat ( certain depth ) and bench we have to have a pause before the ref states " press " or can we put our touch and go 1RM here or both ??
In addition there is RAW ( nothing apart from wrist supports ) or equipped which is everything including squat/deadlift suits. We currently are raw :)

My squat is my biggest weak point, however been doing lots of volume this year to try and get some more kilos up, naturally that will benefit the dead going forward. My son still a junior, starting to pack the weight on now, not just in the lifts but on him as well, we are week 6 into a 10 week program, next comp is 28th November 2021.

My son 215.0 / 145 / 240.0 (BW 101.8) 20 years old Total = 600

I wasn't really training to beat my squat, but I'll take it. New PR of +7.5KG. Currently 13 weeks in from a complete break of 4 months, it's fair to say I needed it.

It will depend on the rules of the specific organisation you're competing under in comp, I think for the purposes of this thread it doesn't matter :p personally I don't do PL style pause bench, it's just the most weight I've done with full ROM

Awesome thank you for the reply, i shall get to the end of this peaking session and give it a go, tbh i haven't done any bench in years that is not paused, so will feel odd :)

Tested deads and bench (new PRs for both). Deads went up way too quick, I had more in the tank but hoping to get in another training block to test my true 1rm. 600 Total is easily in attainable in 1-2 blocks if I continue to get good sleep and I don't relocate before then!

Hit the big 200kg deadlift, feels like a proper milestone. Really chuffed, yet to test bench which should have gone up significantly. Squat is most likely still at poverty levels
 
Some impressive gains there guys. Well done.

200kg i think is most peoples target, HUGE milestone IMO, my next step is 227.5kg (500 pound) hopefully around November that will fly up.

Currently week 7 of a 10 week program. Top working sets are :

140kg squats 1 x 3
125kg bench 2 x 3
185kg deads 2 x 3

I’m stripping my deadlifts back, way back. I’ve completely lost confidence in them, so hoping I can build back up. Who knows where I’ll end up with them. Squats and bench are going well though, squats pretty effortless, grinding through bench that’s hit a bit of a wall.

Just finished last weeks 10 week peaking program, with some very comfortable gains. 10 week program again :)

Really pleased with the squat, this is probably my weakest event, 7.5kg gain this year is great, looking to compete 28th November, hopefully for a few more PBs.
