Yep I'm sure The Whirlwind would have had a goLucky they didn’t do that back in the 80’s when the players were all plastered and Charley’d up. The likes of Alex Higgins would have wrapped his cue around their heads.
Used to watch a lot of snooker back in the 90s/00s but just dip in and out now. Weird to see Mark Williams playing so well after all these years, used to not like him that much but he seems to be quite down to earth these days. Pretty sure he came on the scene the same time as the other Welshman Mathew Stevens, he seemed to disappear off the planet.

Couldnt remember what he looked like so had a look on google images.Ray Reardon would have cowered away in a dark corner thinking it was garlic powder
Someone ought to have put a snooker ball or two in a sock and smacked the dumb **** around the head with it a few times.
Iirc Stevens' form dropped after his dad died, he was such a talent around 2000, had Mark Williams on the ropes in the world final but couldn't finish him off.Stevens lost in the last qualifying round this year to Dave Gilbert but yeah his best days were all in the early days of his career then it totally tailed off.
Shame it's not getting the usual £147k prize this year.147 from Kyren Wilson. Great stuff!
I seem to remember that Steve Davis won a Lada for the first ever televised 147Shame it's not getting the usual £147k prize this year.
