2023 World Snooker Championship - 3rd April to 1st May

No surprise at all. Judds dropped levels this year. He hasn’t won a ranking tournament since March last year, and only two finals since, losing both to Allen and Perry.

Trump's cue action is so unorthodox, have you seen how he aims up for long straight pots and relies on perfect timing to pull the back end of the cue towards his body as he strikes the white?

Brilliant when timing is right, but too many errors against a very capable McGill over this first round match.

One of the worst methods ever as he has to basically turn his cue into the shot every time, works for him but I can't imagine what ever made him play that way.

It's what they get used to - He's always done it that way so it's natural for him.

It's like the cue itself. If anyone picked up Ken's cue, they'd struggle because it's warped but he's always played with that cue and knows how to use it. John Spencer's cue barely had a straight bit of wood on it, but it never hurt him.

Joe Perry all at sea this morning, while Rob Milkins re-tipped his cue and looks like a modern day Tony Drago, from 7-2 overnight it's now 8-8!

They're going to have to end it soon for the 1pm start. So it's going to be 9-8 to somebody and then they come back for a third time.

EDIT: Looks like they're carrying on!

Yep, playing to a finish, only right after the protest disruption they had the other night.

The BBC stream switched to BBC2 politics 5mins+ ago and I'm struggling to find a way to watch the match conclusion either on Freeview or BBC website... Any ideas?

Exit: BBC sport now has working link for decider, Milkins looks strong favourite.

It's on Freeview red button (channel 601)

Murphy takes it to a decider agaist Si from being 9-6 down... Late night drama!

Trying to get as much work done before the big showdown at 2:30 :D

Wouldn't normally be watching as I avoid Ronnie matches but this should be an experience. There might be some argy bargy. I remember Ronnie and Ali Carter bumping shoulders some years ago.
