I just don't see it working for me atm even with the alienware, think I'll stick to my trusty C2. I really wanted the 240hz and a slightly smaller screen. Lack of headphone jack on the alienware is criminal as well.

USB-C-to-headphone convertor sorts this issue apparently, but yes it shouldn't be required.

I've read of people having issues with this on the Alienware, has anyone seen any speakers that would work on a converter and the Alienware? If it wasn't for that issue I would buy one tomorrow.

I doubt they will be any that low for quite some time. Cheapest I've seen was the AW3423DWF when it could be had for around £650 during Black Friday sales.

Still have a code for perks at work but £100 additional discount would be nice.
It was £100 off any purchase above £750 - it comes in and out periodically from my experience.

Cheers for the heads up, have ordered the 27" 1440p version!
added the 32" to basket, site says arrive by 28th feb. so not this week!
really torn on wanting this vs not sure about the curve, the fan and the early issues some have had,
im sure FW updates will come but its a large purchase.
but price under £1k is a pleasant surprise!

Ordered the alienware, price is better than I was expecting and after selling the 34" version it's a nice jump up IMO
