If I hadn't have recently got the 38" Alienware I'd definitely be getting the OLED screen.
Anyone? Doesn't have to be in video format!I see the WAF guy hasn't posted on YouTube in about 18 months. Any other recommendations for similar content?

Nice one, thanks!PC Gaming Wiki is generally quite quick in updating their articles for 21:9 compatibility.
Are you getting the AW monitor? So I guess it's time to update on this thread?
I've had my LG 34UM95-P since 2014 when it first launched, Germany got it first so mine was shipped from Germany and having just checked emails, I paid €972 for it
I was lucky in that LG in the end sent me a free one after I had various issues with backlight bleed and I was collabing with LG at the time so had someone there perosnally inspect the 2nd replacement for backlight bleed, so to that end the monitor I have today is one of the very few out there 34" ultra-wides that have excelent bleed control on the edges. Yeah blacks aren't pure black as it's still an IPS, but my enjoyment of games and media has been excellent with no bleed getting in the way:
I feel that 8 years on it's finally time to go OLED, the original dream come true. 60Hz has been fine so far but I have hardware now that can get more than that so some kind of adaptive vsync is desired and a 175Hz refresh on the same size screen is the way to go for everything else!
The QD-OLED or the 38"?
I'm pretty much dead set on the QD-OLED as can get it will a pretty big discount and cashback combination. Still keeping an eye out for reviews etc though as need to know the colour calibration can be done effectively.
Also in the market for a new Ultrawide display. I wonder who will be the first QD OLED in 38inch. Coming from two 27inch displays, a single 34 seems a tad small.
Got the slightly updated version of the LG 38GN950-B, UI update and logo update, Absolutely gorgeous, 3840x1600, Nano IPS, G-Sync Compatibility/Freesync Premium Pro, HDR600 and 160Hz refresh, Pure eye porn

Have to agree. It's fantastic for work and games alike.38" 3840x1600 form factor is EASILY my favorite size/resolution ever.
