Bought Fallout 4 in the steam sale yesterday..
Went to play it today and it doesn't support 3440x1440 without editing it and installing mods...
You would have expected fairly new games like this to support Ultra Wide 21:9 & high Resolutions..
Well the warnings are true. My X34A has what looks like two dead pixels near the top left corner.
I'm not as hardcore as other members though and will be keeping it. It is only noticeable when the screen is static in a single light colour.
Disappointing, but I agree that a couple of dead pixels isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. How is it for coil whine? And do you know the manufacture date?
Where should I look for a manufacture date, in the manual?
^^Ah, but did you experience any coil whine?

Agreed. That said you only need to edit the ini file to get going, no mods. The hud/scope issue never bothered me.

I posted a rage thread on the Bethesda forums about this back when it came out.
I pre-ordered Fallout 4 and have still not played it because of this!!
Omg boohoo, you buy a niche tech and expect all devs to bend their knees for you.
So difficult editing an .ini
iSize W=2560 or 3440
iSize H=1080 or 1440
bBorderless=1
And adding this

You seem a thoroughly dislikeable chap. Well done.
To get back on point though, theres no excuse for AAA games not supporting 21:9 these days
