Trawled all the way up to Brum to see Charlton fairly easily rolled over by Villa, although we started fairly brightly in both halfs, im starting to think why I bother wasting my time and money!
Im trying to convince myself we are still in a transitional period, Charlton isnt a club used to change, along with the fact that we have 8/9 first teamers injured and we have had a punishing starting fixture list! I hope Dowie can turn it around, we certainly havent got a squad, when fully fit, that should be getting relegated or even in that half of the table!
We got Arsenal this coming Saturday (
), which im not too optimistic about, then after that we have a run of 4/5 games which we can look to get at least 7/8/9 points from, pull us up the table and breed some confidence.
