correct, intel builds are less sensitive to ram speed/timings. also if you're spending that much, you should really make a thread, so one of us can have a look at the specs before you press buy

Thanks. Hopefully the 32GB is still on offer on the 20th when I plan to purchase. I'm just going prebuild with the Germanium I linked too before pretty much as OCUK have it except no HDD and the Silver version of the Phanteks Evolv Case as its £30 cheaper than the black.

ram prices change quickly and seen some deal go because stock goes. i dont think it'll take to long for this to be released, maybe @Gibbo can give indication on its expected sale state span ?

@P1Fanatic might consider building your own, you can see that most 8700k/1080ti builds come in at around £2000ish, that's an awful lot of money you're paying for a prebuilt.
even then we could spec up a build and then you ask in customer services if ocuk will build and warranty the whole build. i'd think that would still be cheaper than £2400.

ryzen 1600 and gtx 1080 ti for £1300 with 500gb ssd :D bar 8GB ram though haha worth paying £300 for OCUK to build it :D

It was £2200 with the cheaper case (Pro M), no HDD and cheaper RAM. I priced up all components per OCUK prices and the difference was less than £50 over the prebuild price! The prebuild gives a guaranteed overclock (assume they select a pre binned one that runs to 4.9 no issue) vs DIY which would be pot luck cpu lottery. I could save £50 buying a cheaper Gigabyte Z370 board and similar buying a cheaper GTX1080TI over the Asus ROG Strix but that’s about it. Maybe a bit cheaper on the M2 SSD but they have shorter warranties also.
