£2k got me..

Keeping tabs, lol.

It's called a memory, everyone has one. It's not difficult to remember things.

0.4 seconds quicker isnt making it look like its going backwards.

I didnt misquote you - I told you what I thought the real reason you sold the S4 was. Thats my opinion, not a misquote.

the S4 made me money when i sold it after owning it for 7-8 months. thats not a money pit.

if my maths is right, thats 40m at 90mph with 0.4s difference

Not quite sure how you got to 40m, it wouldn't be anywhere near that. 0.4s difference after a 0-90 sprint would barely be 10m, if that.

This is so ludicrous.

Like what software he uses is any sort of big deal. It's a tool. I used the same tennis racket as Pete Sampras for years, doesn't mean I was anywhere near his talent.

The talent isn't in what software you use, it's in the mapping.

Yes but lets all keep hush about it. At the next meet I'll be sporting a car cover, because I'll be ****** if I let you jokers know how I go so fast.

difference in quarter mile time, my trap speed was 92-94mph. 40m is distance covered in 0.4s at 90mph speed.

Your assuming a 90 mph speed different. I'm sure you can realise that this isn't the case.

0.4m is not going to be 40m at pod.

This is hard work isnt it.

The point I'm making is that I don't beleive your reasons for sale. That doesnt mean I need to 'get my story straight' because my story is 'I do not beleive you'.

That would assume the other car was stood still pretty much. Even so, don't see you how you got 40m, 90mph is 40m/s, so in 0.4s you'd travel more like 16m, not 40m.

From a standing start, 0.4s difference in the time it took you to get to 90mph will be tiny, maybe a car length gap at most.

I changed my windscreen wipers and did a 0.1sec faster quarter mile. I'm an awesome mapper.

I bought a £4k M5 the other day. It was super cheap to run, could do it all myself. Thing is, I decided to sell it in the end. It wasn't that it was a bottom of the market pit of money, it was more that, well, it was just boring really.

So I got rid of it. Thinking of replacing it with something more exciting. How about a MK4 Golf?
