2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-II HARD DRIVE - JUST £79 inc VAT

I just ordered one of these drives !!! Oh well might as well try and get one at nearly 50% off the price. I am sure I can fill another one up at some point.
 
Will be annoying to see these appearing on auction sites shortly after at a nice mark up once the speculators get in!

They will only be able to order one and I reckon real customers will outnumber speculators 20 to 1.
 
I will certainly be trying to get one of these. The thing that slows my ordering down is when the halifax thinbgy pops up asking me for a password :mad: ;)

Once the 50 are gone will the order fail or will it appear to go through as normal?

I too have the same problem, although i'm with Abbey/Santander. Funny, the people with the least secure bank accounts will get theirs first :rolleyes:.

Why doesn't OCuk do a promotion like this every week restricted to say 50/100 units...with the offer only being exclusive to forum members?
If you don't sell 100 units to forum members then the rest can be sold at the usual price to regular customers.

Would be a nice addition to the weekly special and would reward loyal buyers.

I would love this, well... love/hate. I would love the chance to get amazing deals, but hate the fact it would tempt me to empty my wallet :(.

That it is, but you can guarantee if they did adopt this, the only thing that would be on offer is stuff they are trying to get rid of, i.e clearance sale lol.

Stuff that you really want, people already buy it anyway. The only reason the 2TB is on sale, really, is because they can't shift them. They don't justify the price whatsoever, so this is an attempt to get them off the shelf and attract new customers. :) I have wanted to buy a 2TB drive for months, but couldn’t justify the price so I was going to settle with the 1.5TB editions, this price however is what they SHOULD cost, so I don’t mind parting with my cash. :)

lol, I've been browsing this forum for a while just never signed up, I am fairly active over at Guru3D tho, hopefully I will be here too
