2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-II HARD DRIVE - JUST £79 inc VAT

I think he might be pulling your leg :p

But yes actually I would like to know - will the linked page in the OP just be changed to 'in stock - order' status? Or will we have to go through the homepage or something - quite an important thing to know :p

:)

i presume you need to be logged in so it knows you have a forum acc and logically, that the page will change to allow ordering @ 1.30pm

Was going to go for this on thursday but after the amount of interest of it from deals websites and the fact that if i was to order it i'd have to go through the natwest security thingy which by that time all 50 would be gone :P

Picked up a 1tb 7200RPM instead, should be coming today.. i hope :(

If something can be reduced by so much, doesnt it mean we are paying too much for it at the normal selling price?? lol :D
Could be.

Also a common marketing plan to have loss leaders, get publicity for the bargain spread by word of mouth, they now know where you are and hey, they might buy again some other time.

I note that a competitors email turned up advertising a 2TB drive for about £35 more recently.

Could be clearing the decks for moar 2TB drives or mebbe they both happened to independently do a 2TB drive special.

So what happens to the people that place an order after stock runs out? Do they get one when more stock comes in? and if not do they get an instant refund back into their account or do you have to wait a week or two?

This has been answered many times.
