2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-II HARD DRIVE - JUST £79 inc VAT

Going to be chaos trying to get one of these. Will be making sure my lunch break lines up with buy time :D
A low power 2tb drive is absolutely perfect for my harddrive enclosure I got for xmas (once I get it working!)
 
seems like a fair shout, was going to order a couple of 1.5's but I'll be getting one of these first I think. though already there are more than 50 of us wanting one!
 
Does standing at the shop counter count watching the time tick over until 1:30 until I ask the very nice man on the desk if I can purchase the aforementioned drive rather pronto....

How many new members are there with <10 posts? ;)

Hope the OcUK servers are prepared for the onslaught of the MSE, DVDF and HukD lot all hammering the store site at exactly the same time xD
 
Is this mainly to attract new customers then since it is open to everyone? People will only care about getting the deal and won't bother sticking around on the forums/site I doubt. This is all over the internet and deal sites where people will just stick them on ebay for profit. If you wanted a lottery (which is what it will be) why didn't OCUK just give them away to forum members in a competition or something?

They will for future deals

I'm sure the forums help a lot with sales especially pre-orders / new hardware, members get caught in the "buzz" and "crave" to get the hardware on release even at an expense, its like that with all forums / sites, why do you think other sites are also trying to attract members on their forums with competitions and great offers!
 
It's a shame that you don't get a better chance with more forum posts lol.

Oh well with give it a go anyway. Running out of space for porn.
