actually not a bad idea if I've understood you right - when I was trying to get one of these on the deal I was wondering what else I might want to buy while I was at it seeing as I was going to be paying for delivery

Damn, missed out on this, didn't even know about this till today but saved a huge amount of wear and tear on my F5 key judging by the replies posted by somepeoples :)

To the people whining, what exactly were you expecting, 50 drives, no doubt advertised on a multitude of forums, so thousands of potential buyers.

Here is my 2p.

I feel sorry for the regulars who didn't get one and the new random people who did.

I did point out many pages ago that HotUKdeals had posted about this which had drawn a lot of attention.

I did wonder how the website would handle the demand, but was told it would be fine.. You can't predict everything mind.

My questions on this whole deal are.

1. Did OcUK get what they want from this? New people to register and maybe buy other parts?

2. Were there much more orders in the last week or so since this was advertised?

of course you don't have to say, I am curious thats all, as are most of us I suppose.

Congrats to the people that did get there HDD, and well done to OcUK on sending out the 64 or so HDDs that managed to get through the system.

Feel the same way tbh, been with OCUK for 3 years now, yet some newbie that will only join to grab a deal and then clear off again gets it instead. Not to mention the time it was set up, so the only people that get it are people sitting at home or people with laxed lunch breaks :(.

A few minutes, no one in our house hold could even get on to the site at all, even your forum was broken. So waiting around for over an hour and shopping some where else isn't that tabbo is it?

Thanks for the drive ocuk. Mine appeared at work whilst I was at the dentist. So whilst I have half a number face and can't drink properly I have a new harddrive so am happy! :p
