3/4 way sli won't be enabled for GAMES

All being well AMD will continue support for 3/4 way crossfire when Vega comes out so then it will be a selling point for the elite tier crowd :)

Apart Xfire support as been pretty poor the past couple of years, (has improved in resent months) Elite for example (Edit Crimson 16.4.2 finally brought it in). Sadly more and more game engines and being built in such a way (ie dependant on data from previous frames) that Multi GPU harder/impossible.

I'm not even sure DX12/Valkan will help as well as the ball will be in developers court (rather than the vendor) and most of them wont both imo, but I would love to be wrong on this one!

AMD would also be able to say that any NVidia 3/4 way Firestrike Unigine or Catzilla results are invalid as they don't reflect actual gameplay where as AMD 3/4 way scores would.

I find it laughable that NVidia will allow 3/4 SLI solely for the purpose of generating high bench scores even though they will have no bearing in gameplay or anything else apart from bragging rites for themselves.

The most useless gaming system in existence now. Lol

I love how it looks like everything is just connected to one 280mm radiator. would be funny if it was, rofl.

Any increase in resources for 2-way SLI would be beneficial.

And nobody is going to make 'the prettiest game in the world' and all the money that would cost when only a tiny fraction of people with ultra powerful PC's can run it decently.

So what do you call Crysis? Nobody could max it out but it became the biggest tech demo game and it did pretty damn well. Pretty sure it drove a fair few gpu upgrades as well.

AMD seem to be pushing for mGPU in the consoles so i think devs will be pretty much forced to support atleast 2way xfire in the next 2-4 years. according to AdoredTV youtube channel and as of now its the only channel i trust.
