3 Games you "HATE" that most ppl like..

Bioshock infinite - rave reviews however gun play seems boring, story is dull, enemies are totally generic and lots of going back and forth through linear maps.

BioShock - worse in every way than SS2
The Witcher - not played the sequels but the 1st was horrid
Sleeping Dogs - the worst game I've played this decade

Heh, I would bet my student loan (what's left of it) on the majority of people in this thread saying WoW having never played it for any decent amount of time, or even to max level (you know, where all the content is). Its like saying you hate a car you've never driven because the seat is uncomfortable. I can understand hating what it stands for, complete market dominance due to time investment of players squashing any possible innovation in the MMO genre though, in which case I would agree.

Ah, the Final Fantasy XIII argument; "the game gets good at the 20 hour mark!". No, if a game requires heavy investment to get to the good bits then it's a bad game. Period.

Utter rubbish! I got several toons into the 40's on several different occasions before I just had to stop out of annoyance and complete boredom. You're saying it would magically start being enjoyable after I'd endured the levelling process?

For me it is any 'realism' fps like the cods and battlefields. Simply not fast enough, fps games should be skillful.

As for a game that was a true disappointment after all the marketing:

Black and White.

Also i find the theme games though really addictive for first play through like Theme Park, Theme Hospital etc, even that Prison Architect....no longevity for me. Once i have created one of them i just dont see the point in doing it again.

Diablo lll. Most overhyped game ever. Played through it once and strated on the next difficulty and got fed up doing the same stuff. Titan quest was much better (and you could mod it).

Farcry 2 + 3. The most repetitive rubbish i have ever had the misfortune of buying. They are miles away from the excellent original.

Fallout NV. I loved Fallout 3 but i just couldn't get into NV as it was so repetitive.

The one that springs to mind the most is Bioshock. I just can't stand everything about them. I may be a bit bitter though because I fell into the release and review hype and ended up spending money on them... instantly regretting it.

I guess another series would be Fallout. I just find it clunky and difficult to get into, which may be strange coming from a massive Elder Scrolls fan.

Call of Duty, since Modern Warfare 2. (BLOPS SP was ok though)
World of Warcraft. I am not keen on the fantasy genre, especially not in that case.
Battlefield series. Maps are too big as far as I'm concerned.

Level 40 is literally nothing, even at release that was barely over half way.

Yes, at which point I said to myself "christ, I'm bored out my brain, why am I still doing this?" And then, being a reasonable human being, I stopped.

It's a really simple concept to get your head around.

Bioshock - Never liked them, don't know why.
Dark Souls - Same as above
Sims - Played them as a kid, i never knew why i would play them and for that i don't like them haha

I was bored by level 10, it's an utterly boring game IMO and the opinion of many others. I'm not sinking 100s hours into it just cos it might get better, if a game is still rubbish 5hrs in, it's a poor game
