Could allways use the 14 day thing and then go through quidco but is it worth the hassle for £40?

Hmm looks like I will have to run the Vodafone contract until its end in April, Vodafone won't give me a PAC code unless I pay the £52 odd for “early termination” even though he did confirm if I did get the code I can continue using my current contract until its end so why they couldn’t give me the code and just sit tight until April and I’d continue paying as normal I don’t know.
Meh!
Rock on!
Was that S2 deal a free handset then? Not bad.

3 have been been brilliant for me, data speed are fantastic.
I got a SGS2 500 mins 3000txts & 1gb internet for £17 a month![]()
Ah well, not going to complain now I guess
Sim arrived today, damn fast shipping?
Activated a moment ago and had a quick check, full bars reception on HSPA, initial speed test at home reports up to 2Mb up and down which isn't great but with Vodafone I get 2 bars HSPA with similar speeds. I will leave it now until March/April when I can get my PAC code and then sort it out properly, I just manually punched in APN settings etc and I think there are some other things to tweak (such as the modem firmware I've currently got installed).
Good stuff! If anything, the full reception means less power drain when connected to the mobile network because the phone's not having to work to keep a signal alive in weak reception areas.
I might add all you can eat down the line for an extra £3 so £13 a month but for now I think 1GB is more than enough. I don't exceed the 500MB that Vodafone has now so I think I should be fine!
Can you guys tell me if there are any problems cutting 3 sims to micro sim? I kind of remember they used to call them differently few years back, usim, or something, does that affect iphone "cut-compatibility" of it?
.
(I still call it youTorrent though
).
.ludde said:Good question.
It could be one of those:
* you-torrent
* microtorrent (because µ means micro)
* mytorrent (because µ is pronounced like my)
I don't really know how it's pronounced big_smile
I usually say "you torrent" because it looks like a u.
/Ludde
µSim means microsim. µ is the symbol for micro.
.

I've been having a play on the sim tonight and I am impressed so far. Some key differences I found:
1. The 3 App is better than the Vodafone app, it allows full control of my account and provides useful info on what to do when I want to 'do stuff', it also just works, no need to log in etc.
3. The automated voices on 3 are faster paced than Vodafone's, I dislike having to wait and listen to options, 3's system is slick, I set my Voicemail up within seconds, for example.
4. I actually have 1.17GB of data allowance a month according to the account area and 3500 texts instead of 1GB and 3000 that I've signed up to!
I look forward to having 12 months of good service to be honest!
I might just pay the early termination charge with Voda and get my PAC early![]()
