3060Ti

Probably working as intended once it comes to a complete stop when idle.

30% power could be the least amount of power needed to get the fan moving any lower and it won't start up.
It’s running at 1000rpm on 30% and definitely doesn’t come to a complete stop with my custom curve even at temps where it should be 0%.

I've set up a custom fan curve in Afterburner, but for some reason it doesn't let me reduce the fan speed down to 0 - 30% is the minimum it'll go to. Does anyone know why this is please? The standard fan curve allows 0 fan speed so I don't think it's BIOS limited.

Very small difference in FPS as boost is only around 15-30 Mhz lower due to the higher temps so I might just stick with the standard fan curve anyway.

I noticed that yesterday and when searching for a solution I found this post, the beta still doesn't work for me, we have to wait for a update for MSI afterburner.

I thought it was just my Zotac 3080 Trinity OC. It also stalls sometimes in games but I think that was my CPU thermal throttling at 75C. Time to adjust the AIO fan.
My 3080 FE sounded like a swarm of bees inside the case. The 3070 FE I'm using now is silent though.

Yeah I find there totally silent up to a around 1400rpm, there real high quality fans I wouldn't mind some 140mm copys for my case :D

Are these cards free from coil whine?

I read the 3070/80 series suffered pretty bad from it.

It really varies between cards (even within same model) because each inductor (which is the whining part) is a tiny bit different and can but doesn't have to whine, at different FPS. Mine whines but I can only hear it when FPS is above 200 and my case side is open. Closing the side and just gaming within refresh rate of my monitor (up to 144FPS) I can't hear any at all.

If anyone could test Warzone on 1440p Ultra with RT on I’d like to see what FPS you’re getting. Have heard reports that the 30XX drivers are having issues with Warzone and I think it may be causing me to have relatively low FPS (100ish).

MSI 3060ti gaming x arrived today, not had a chance to install yet. Will run some benchmarks on the V56 tomorrow before testing the 3060ti, should be a big boost to fps around 40-50% or more in unreal engine games.

Most likely will need to upgrade my r5 2600 cpu for high refresh 120+ games, will wait for a cheap 3700X or just jump the gun to a 5700 when/if they release.
