30xx Series Founders Edition

Has anyone found anywhere to buy a 12 pin cable that's compatible with Corsair type 4 PSUs yet?

yeah moddiy.com. Ordered from them loads and they are solid and got some 8 pin to PSU ones getting delivered as not sure what GPU I would end up with. Cable in various lengths and for various PSUs. Got custom sleeved cables from them for my AX1600i and sfx PSUs. They take about two weeks - 3 weeks to get to you however.

Ah I was looking at them. Good to have a recommendation. I'm going to wait till my card arrives so I can measure up the cable run before ordering.

Is it worth F5'ing between now and the coming Thursday? sigh... I have had twice "out of stock" message during final check out :(

I'd kinda do it during GTC when Jensen has his presentation, and next Thursday. I've had the same as yourself. Kinda miffed.

Only personally know one person that got a card, and they lucked out with a Palit 3080 from some competitor on launch day.

OK. Might do the same. Can't keep F5'ing everyday :p Good luck to all of us who still needs to get one of 'em bad boys.

Something folks noticed was that if you load the product page and the out of stock button loading fast, it apparently means the API is active and stock is close.

Otherwise if there's nothing, the Out of Stock button is delayed after the rest of the page loads.

This is something I also noticed yesterday and is a good indication.

Ive actually had more luck buying boxed 3DFX cards ( VTV, Banshee 2000, 3500, 4500, 5500 ), and some other rarities like still sealed GeForce 4MX, ATI Rage 128 Pro, and S3 Savage IX cards, than finding a bloody RTX 3090 that's still in production Haha!

yes strange, maybe they want to push sales of all those poorly designed unreliable 3rd party AIB cards?

They have removed API calls from the various pages that had them on, which would previously show "Out of Stock" after a long delay. Now none of the pages have what would've been an "Add to Cart" button on, and the cards are straight up gone from the Shop part.

I don't think they've stopped selling them, more likely is that they want people to stop hammering the API by trying to scrape the various pages for changes, because they need the API to be stable to sell other stuff on their store.

You could also argue that they're trying to make people get some sleep, too.

Seems the FE 3080 and 3090 have gone of the Nvidia site now.
Probably because it's being hammered around the same time as stock arriving yesterday. The page loads first then the state gets updated afterwards (oos message). It could be that the request is actually timing out so not updating to show anything.

Nah, they've removed the API check from the page entirely. There is no place for a button to show "Add to Cart" or "Out of Stock" anymore.

Even in their product category, there is no longer a 3080 listed if you select nvidia as manufacturer.

Clicking see all buying options shows the 3070, and then the AIB 3090 cards. Weird

I’ll be mighty annoyed if I have to pay more for an AIB card that’s ugly as sin, and seems less reliable.

Personally I’ve never had issues with direct reference/founders cards. Had a 100% bugger up rate with AIB designs.

You might be right but I've just seen OOS again at 18:14. Maybe they're doing some updates or something.
Not that I'm looking on the off-chance that some stock may magically appear again or anything, at same time as yesterday :D (saddo)

I don't think people should panic. It seems incredible to believe that they aren't going to be making more FEs. It's not been billed as a limited edition thing.

What's more believable is that there are like a billion bots and scrapers out there crawling those pages, and as a consequence making API calls, so the API is just dead 24/7. Other products on the store need the API to return legit stock info, etc, so they are inclined to make sure it's working.

As of right now it doesn't matter if all these bots keep scraping those pages because no API calls are being made so nothing on those pages will ever change. It does mean it's broken all of those bots, and stuff like NowInStock, etc.
