30xx Series Founders Edition

I'd kinda given up, I've got all the alerts and have been largely ignoring them due to non successes. I was actually shaving when it came through and just responded to the telegram alert, straight through to payment and confirmed.

It's a bloody lottery clearly. Sorry to those who missed out, i def have felt your pain but keep at it.. !!!

Not yet but it should be getting better soon. I had chance of buying 2 consoles last month that I passed on. Now shops are open I am sure they will get better, unless you have scalpers driving around buying those up also lol.
 
I agree, que system + order limit is the way to go, this would've been fine from the beginning. You don't need such specific (and completely random) drop times then either.

All this mad dashing to order does drive up demand though, creating the perception of products that are considered highly desirable or indispensable.

PS5 Digital (at RRP) is honestly the best deal for gaming this year. They sell it at a loss, but you don't have to spend a ton on games you can just use PS Plus or download free games.

I wonder if the FE webshop will change their 1 order per household policy in 3-6 months time, when most people will probably have brought a GPU?
 
I'm glad the place selling the Founders Edition have these measures in place otherwise no one will get one other than the scalpers. I managed to snag a 3090 FE about 2 weeks ago and then left the Discord and Telegram groups. However, it seems some folk either cant help themselves, are addicted to the thrill of the chase or are just serial scalpers as some are trying their best to get around the measures in place.
 
I'd thought getting a payment option that actually works would be the hardest part for anyone trying to buy more than 1 FE, as I bet they check the name on the card / account vs previous payment options.

Was gonna get one for my brother, but he's prepared to wait a while longer I think.
 
Got my 3080FE a few drops back, put it under water and it's been rock solid. Congrats on those of you who got one today. Bit embarrassing how much of a rush you get when that purchase is confirmed!
 
I had my 3060Ti in the first drop in December, so I bought it under a set of rules that existed that the time, so those rules should still apply to me and anyone else that got a card at that time, I think changing the rules after the fact just sucks lol...

If I get a 3080 then I'll offer my 3060Ti at a realistic price a few places, and then here if it doesn't go before that, it'll come here as I'd rather do that than be or assist the scalpers..
 
Had a 3090 while trying to buy on my mobile but there did not seem to be a PayPal button. Like WTF! Another stroke of bad luck for me, such is my life.
