30xx Series Founders Edition

The RTX 3060 TI add to basket link reappeared, then I got through to the final stage after confirming with my bank, but then it failed (think it was just removed from my basket).

I assume this is because I already ordered a RTX 3070 FE in February.

oh well, hopefully someone else here got it :)

Yeah, that'll be the reason.

Their repeat order protections seem quite robust TBH. Pretty much needs "incognito" mode to ensure you aren't logged in, plus a new email address, delivery address, payment details (which have to match the delivery details), etc. I'm also fairly sure that they log details for blocked orders; I forgot to use "Incognito" last time, and this time it blocked an order in my girlfriend's name, with her card, and at a new address (we've just moved). If they do, then my parents' address is flagged as well and I may as well give up.

Have some people managed to order more than 1 RTX 3000 series card (different models)?

They didn't have a restriction at launch. Then it was 1x 3060/70/80 & 1x 3090. Now it's 1x3000-series per customer. So perfectly plausible to have grabbed a few without jumping through hoops.

I'd guess they have measures in place to prevent orders via VPNs too?

Can't really stop people using a 4G connection though.

Do they let people pick it up graphics cards their at a nearby shop / post office?

No I was trying to get 3090 today to upgrade my 3080.
And yes all 3 I bought from the only place that sells them using same account and same payment method.
But like someone mentioned before I managed to get them before they tightened up the rules.

Wow £1,400 thats crazy.

It's good that at least they are getting some stock in, for people who keep refreshing and don't have a FE card yet.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition Graphics Card - Confirmed Order on auction site for £1400.. someone clearly got lucky on one..

Just had a mooch at Sold listings. Comfortably clear of £900 for a 3060 Ti FE now. If May is as bad for stock as rumours suggest, we could see £1k as the norm before long.

Crazy times. I wonder how much longer Nvidia can keep honouring the 3000-series MSRPs for FE cards?

That's what I thought when I first ordered and cancelled one back in Jan, but then re-ordered another end of Feb. After selling my old 1080ti and mining on it I have almost already paid it off, another month and it would have been a free upgrade. :P
There is no way I would spend so much money on a gaming GPU if I did not have this option.

Hmm, it's not for everyone but maybe just use a PS5/XB Series X this year, if you can actually get one (does that toy shop have them yet?).

That's probably the reason many of us couldn't get one... I bet for every person trying to buy one for personal use, there were 10 people buying to resell them... It is obvious they don't care for customers, otherwise they would either have plenty of stock to satisfy demand, or use a list/queue system. All they are doing here is misleading about their product prices, claiming it is much lower than it really is.

This is my last month working from home. Taking into account the last drop before this one was like one month and a half ago, I guess I am not buying a 3XXX card after all, as I am not gonna be able to try buying one in a 5 second window... Considering quitting from the discord groups and alert bots now even really, I don't see the point in wasting my time...
