30xx Series Founders Edition

Oh, this sounds good.

How low should I go with the voltage? does anything else need to be changed?

Matter of finding the sweet spot for your card without loosing too much performance. Usually 800mv-850mv will save you a decent amount of power while keeping clock speeds similar to what comes out the gate.

Usually nothing else needs to be changed, with the lower heat your fan speed will usually ramp up less accordingly also.

I just moved the power slider down from 100 to 91 or thereabouts can still get a modest overclock as well though that was more to do with the temperature than anything else the 3090's throw out a lot of heat at full chat

Question about the Resizable BAR, do I need to do a bios update on the card to enable this? It's showing as Yes in system information but not sure if that just means if the board bios supports it or not. Do new cards ship with this enabled?

Thanks, just watched a quick video on this, looks fairly straight forward, will do some testing on this tomorrow.

Yes in System Information means its enabled.

Also fire up GPU-Z and it will tell you the same.

Nice, yes it's showing in GPUZ as well. New FE cards must have updated bios then. :D

Last few drivers seem to have greatly improved and then finally eradicated a problem I was having with black screens where seemingly the GPU drivers had crashed. Reboot always sorted it and the PC could still be used via RDP. Not had this for many weeks now. Did originally think to return the GPU end of Jan but stuck with it, it seemed a driver problem rather than a faulty GPU. All seems fine now, finally. It never happened while gaming, just doing typical desktop tasks.

Try 850mv at 1905mhz, the rest of curve should be changed when you adjust that, also reduce the clock speeds for higher voltages to same level so it wont go above that.

If it isnt stable increase it in increments or reduce the clock speed, the worse 3080 I seen reported for undervolting needs 906mv to power 1905mhz, mine needs 882mv.

No need to bother with core clock modifier, as it will be overridden with curve, probably also no need to adjust power limit.

If you want combs you have to pay extra and they'll add extra combs depending how many you want. Ordered mine on 13th-Feb and arrived on 9th-Mar.

There's also an option for extension cable if you search "EZDIY-FAB RTX 3000 Series 12 Pin" on google.

Mine arrived in 16 days using the free shipping offer they had on. Didn't get combs as that cancelled the free shipping...
Cut down some 24 pin combs I already had.

Corsair's ICue soft can control the 3080FE lights, the logo can be dimmed in three steps + off IIRC (mine is dimmed and I have a custom animation on the V).

Asus armory crate recognizes the card but only lets you change the colour of the vee. No options for the logo. In Icue you can also change the logo to grey or black. Making it a darker shade gives more control over how bright it is. Can also make it flash. Which is nice...
