30xx Series Founders Edition

Same.

I also just don’t understand why AIBs must make their cards look like a 5 year old designed it. Especially when you look at all the high end cases. Full of sharp lines and tempered glass.

Also the box....the nvidia fe box is and feels so premium compared to the AIB ones. The cooler is gorgeous, the grey and the black with the white LEDs is perfect to match every build! I almost whish I wasn't watercooling it LOL

Why bother with an FE if your WCing it then? Other than price of course!

Because is like £100 cheaper than all the others available? LOL

Also because I use ITX systems, so the length of the card is important, I have about 23cm of clearence, and other than the reference design ones (Palit, Gainward, PNY) only the FE is short enough to fit

Well the FE being much cheaper is reason enough on it's own. The premium coolers of AIB cards are not needed, which is why you would normally buy the AIB's. Turns out NV put out a decent card all around this time.

does't fe need 30cm case clearance according to nvidia?

More like £300 cheaper if you had an ASUS Strix OC on pre order. It’s a beautiful card and the build quality is fantastic

Haha, it's going to be the first time ever that I thought about taking the gpu out the loop. I'm still going to get a block, but this is the best looking fan card I've seen.

So how does the FE stack up against the AIB cards? It certainly, in my opinion, is the nicest looking card but how is it for performance? I am not an avid overclocker so I am not concerned about scores in Port Royal etc but I just wondered how much of a difference in real world terms is there between the FE and say the OC ver of the Asus ROG 3090?
